You’re a therapist! Based on your comment here, I find that shocking. I would have expected a more balanced view from you, considering your job is to listen to people’s unique and varied experiences and find common ground between couples. I would not expect you to take the position that a viewpoint is ‘wrong’. That is very worrying.
