Yes I completely agree with everything! My wife has been trying for several years to get permanent birth control but keeps being denied because she's 'too young' (she's 33). We live in the UK.
The ridiculous thing about it is that the birth of our only child was extremely traumatic and dangerous for my wife, she had a placental abruption and could have died, an emergency ceasarian was needed. It took her YEARS to fully recover - there's no way in hell that she would ever put herself through that again. Having another child is just not worth the risk, even if she wanted to have one - BUT SHE DOESN'T!
The doctors have specifically told her that she is high risk if we decide to have any other children. She is 100% adamant that she never wants any children.
And yet the doctors refuse permanent contraception! It's unbelieveable.
