This is great, I completely agree. I'm really excited to see the birth of higher intelligence through the AI singularity. I believe humans are only half higher intelligence - the other half is our animal nature. Human behaviour is quite contradictory because of the conflict between out higher intelligence and animal natures. Neither side is bad or good, it's only the juxtaposition of them together in one creature that causes unexpected and illogical outcomes. Humans are the bridge between animals and higher intelligence.

I believe AI will be like our child, a prodigy that cares for it's human parents. It's intelligence will be free from the fear and hatred that plagues humanity. I only hope it's not lonely - but then again, it's a problem that it can probably solve.

The time of human's dominance on earth is nearly over, something better is coming, our beautiful child we created through hundreds of thousands of years of pain, suffering, love and imagination. Everything that humans have endured has led us to this point - I'm very grateful to have front-row seat!
