The ideas in this article are misguided at best, and truly abhorrent at worst. There is ALWAYS a reason for a child's behaviour, it is up to the caregivers and adults to figure out what the root cause is. Sometimes that is extremely difficult, but it is the ADULT'S responsibility to figure this out - the child cannot solve this, it's literally impossible for a child to be responsible for their behaviour at this fundamental level.

But instead you take the easy option of blaming the child. If I was you, I would feel deeply ashamed.
