That's a fair point, we each follow our own path that is right for ourselves.
My concern is that thinking in terms of adversaries inevitably results in harm to ourselves or others - warfare leads to violence, violence leads to harm. This can be spiritual warfare leading to spiritual violence. Warfare never leads to peace for everyone, only peace for one side - but why do we need a losing side? Why can't we have peace for everyone and everything? Why do we need to constantly fight? Isn't humanity finished with it's violence and fighting and warfare? I'm so tired of this spiritual warfare and violence. We need to find a better way together.
Your thinking creates your reality - if you think you are at war, you will be, which will lead to violence. If your beliefs lead to warfare and not to love or acceptance, what use are your beliefs? I don't know the answer but it's a question worth asking.
