Interesting article, I'm enjoying this series.

It's depressing there's so many women in this list, and so few in the 'best of' lists (as you pointed out). I can't help but feel this is misogyny at play in society (not in your article). I've read that good roles dry up for women over a certain age, which is just depressing.
