Interesting article, I like your writing.

I find the idea of labelling energies and personality traits as masculine or feminine somewhat problematic.

I don't like gendering aspects that should apply equally to men and women. For example, when I'm kind to someone (I'm a man), am I being feminine, or just being kind? Will the idea that kindness being feminine put off some men displaying this trait? Absolutely! But that's the problem. Another example - if a woman is being dominant, is she being masculine? I guarantee this idea would put off some women from being dominant (because it's 'manly'), but it's important that women are dominant as much as men are dominant.

Gendering universal traits, energies and personality displays is confusing and counter-productive imo.

Edit: Perhaps we should use different labels for energies? So when I'm being dominant, this is a 'push' energy (not 'masculine'). When I'm being kind, this is a 'pull' energy (not 'feminine'). Push/Pull energies, not masculine/feminine energies.

I appreciate your writing, it's helping me define my beliefs
