Interesting article but I wonder if retirement funds will even be a thing in 30 years when I retire. I’m saving for retirement but to be honest I’m just covering my bases — I don't expect to see much return on my investment (if anything at all). I have a feeling that a lot of people will be screwed out of their retirement funds somehow, or society will evolve to the point where money in it’s current form is not really a thing anymore. I feel like the mode of capitalism that encourages retirement saving will be long dead and buried in 30 years' time. It seems like the whole rotten system (where everyone is encouraged to hoard wealth) is crumbling right now because 100 people hold 50% of the world’s wealth, while the rest of us fight over the scraps. I’ll be happy to lose my retirement scraps if the billionaires lose their vast wealth too. That would be hilarious!
