In my opinion the correct answer for all of these is 'Need more information', Even the 'obvious' maths question - from a mathematical perspective, your answer is correct. But what does 'they have a total of £50' actually mean? Do you mean £50 on them together at that time? If so, then they both may have more money in accounts, shares etc, so the answer is not £50 total. We're dealing with a situation involving people, not a purely mathematical concept - and people make things complicated!

This is one danger of any kind of news - the reader is often not given all the facts or perspectives to come to a balanced conclusion. This is a problem with both real and fake news.

People should question everything and take nothing as fact. Which is why I respectfully disagree with your 'correct' answers :)

Maybe I'm just sore I got every question wrong...
