I sympathise, that's exactly what happened to me after my son was born.

It felt as though every major system was breaking down: executive functioning, emotional regulation and my nervous system. The onslaught of my life was too much for the coping mechanisms that had held me together and got me through life. They had shattered, exposing something raw and powerful.
