I follow your writing closely (since October last year when I joined Medium) and it’s great to see you go from strength to strength. You are inspiring me to be bolder and more positive in my aspirations with my art. I have a day job that pays the bills, but recently, it’s like a fire has been lit up my arse when it comes to creating art. I’m starting to believe I can really do this ‘art’ thing, whatever it turns out to be. I’m 39 and this is the first time in my life that I believe I can achieve success with art.

It’s also been really useful to see how you handle other people’s jealousy/insecurities related to your success, with your honesty and determination.
