I enjoyed this, thank you. I've always liked the term 'The Holy Goof', I think I picked this up from Kerouac's writing but can't remember exactly where. It's also the name of a comic volume by a favourite comic artist (Moebius), so I guess the gods are directing me this way. It's stuck in my mind for many years. The older I get, the more I realise that the gods are laughing at us... and I'm starting to get the joke...
