I disagree - creation is all about your influences, man. How do humans create anything? Where do ideas come from?

I'd argue that every creation that any person ever made came from something else before it - we take what exists and what we experience, mash it together to come up with new, unique things. That's exactly what AI is doing too. Humans have the mysterious subconscious, which is why we believe creation is magic and mysterious - it's because our conscious minds can't see behind the magician's curtain. AI has it's own magician's curtain called the neural network.

Or perhaps you believe that only humans have a soul and can hear the words of the gods when they create? Divine inspiration from "out there"...

Perhaps a better question is: can machines/robots/AI create art from a human perspective? Or is their art always from an AI perspective, even when it's influenced by human art?
