I completely agree, I muted Jessica last year and Umair two years ago. I noticed that Jessica's writing got more and more negative since 2019.

I'm surprised at the backlash you're receiving in the comments. I believe that humanity is in the dark part of a regular cycle, it's happened many times before and will again - we'll get through it like we always do. There's always some existential crisis looming, it's baked into humanity - focussing on negatives endlessly gets us nowhere.

It seems many commenters are content to embrace the doom. I don't have the mental capacity for that, I'd get very depressed.
