Huh this frustrates me tbh - I'm constantly told that my problems are because "I can't let go" of outcomes, yet here is the Buddha refusing to leave his seat until he reaches enlightenment - not much letting go from him I see.

What am I missing here? Should I be letting go or doubling down? I'm guessing these teachings only make sense to people who are already deep into the teachings of Buddhism, it all seems very confused and contradictory to me.
