How much choice we do actually have? How much free-will? Looking back, it's so seductive to see all the possibility streams - but looking ahead, you're blind.

The uncomfortable answer to this choice conundrum is that good choices go bad, horrible situations work out well and none of us really know what's going to happen in the future. People shouldn't get hung up on 'good' or 'bad' choices, it's missing the point entirely. We're just dust motes drifting on the breeze of life. We probably have a lot less free will than we think we do.

The best we can do is choose something, anything (or feel like we are choosing if free will is an illusion) and try to make the best of whatever situation occurs. That is all.
