Great writing but I must disagree here - God is all/nothing, therefore God is fear, God is pain, God is everything. All evil that exists is part of God because God is everything/nothing. You can't have anything that is separate from God, it's not possible.

I prefer the term 'Great Spirit' because the term 'God' is too vague and too full of negative connotations for me. Also, the Christian conception of God is very confused - how can the Devil be separate from God when God is All? It does not make sense.

I believe in a hierarchy of beings:

1. First the Great Spirit is everything/nothing, we are all part of it. All good and evil is part of the Great Spirit.

2. Next the Gods who we give names and faces to, this includes the Christian God called 'God' (very confusing), or other gods with proper names such as Hermes, Shiva, Allah etc.

3. Next are other beings of light such as angels, souls etc.

4. Next are physical beings such as humans, insects, trees, rocks etc.
