Great advice, I'm finding your writing really useful and reassuring. I tend towards black and white thinking, it's something I've struggled with all my life. I had a bad childhood and I think I have ADHD, which all contributes I believe. Questioning my thoughts and emotions really helps me keep perspective and not go down the rabbit-hole of thought-loops and darkness.
I'm proud of the progress I've made in the last 20 years, not even sure how I managed to climb out of the hole to be honest, it feels miraculous!
