Fair comment, thank you. Rowling's experience of abuse, and her subsequent desire to protect women (which is understandable), makes her bigotry towards trans women even more horrifying - she is actively harming women with her behaviour. The fact that she and others do not consider trans women women is the problem.

Trans women are women. Trans men are men.

I have a feeling that Rowling will eventually educate herself on trans issues and then look back at her bigotry with horror, as she should. Unfortunately the damage will already be done.
