Completely agree, I was a problem drinker for many years, I gave up alcohol for good in 2018. It's really fucking weird how normalised this hard drug called alcohol is.

Here in the UK, we have cans of mixers in the lunch aisles of posh supermarkets (Marks and Spencer). Gin and tonic next to ham sandwiches! It's fucking insane. Once I gave up, I started noticing this stuff and being very disturbed by it.

Anyone who thinks alcohol is not a hard drug (as dangerous as heroin) is kidding themselves.
