Brilliant list, for a good sci-fi utopia, I recommend 'The Dispossessed' by Ursula Le Guin. Stories about utopias always risk being sappy or just plain boring (no stakes), but this one is great and keeps you engaged - the utopia shown in the book seems rather grim at times. Anything by Le Guin is great though.

For a good sci-fi adventure story, I recommend 'Hyperion' by Dan Simmons. Amazing characters and world-building.
