Are you referring to the terminally ill child Charlie Gard? He was born with a condition so rare it only affects a handful of people in the world.
If this is the example you’re thinking of, I’d argue that this is an exceptional case and does not detract from the amazing work the NHS does every day for thousands of patients. The NHS is a far better system compared to the insurance-based healthcare that countries such as the US offer it’s citizens.
