A couple of comments here that seem to miss your point. This is great advice, my mother was/is depressed, unfortunately she has never found the courage to seek help. I realised some time ago that I am inexplicably attracted to women who are sad, I feel like I have to save them somehow. Knowing is half the battle, I'm working on it.
